Information Centre of Lake Kerkini Management Authority
The Information Centre is situated in the premisesof the Management Authority in the village of Kerkini. It has been found it in 1997 by the Greek Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and since then it operates for the promotion of the area. Later, when the Management Authorities of Protected Areas were established, it became a part of Lake Kerkini Management Authority.
The Centre’s taskis to inform and raise the public awareness of the National Park ecological values, to promote the area and the environmental protection in general.
It is open every day (including the weekends). The visitors can obtain information about the National Park. Groups of visitors like students, cultural and athletic clubs and also individuals are welcome for a guided tour inside the Centre or outdoors led by  a representative of the Management Authority.
The Centre has a permanent exhibition with information and photos about Lake Kerkini National Park. There is a small conference room too.

Centre for Environmental Education
The Centre for Environmental Education in the village of Kato Poroia was established in 1999 by the Greek Ministry of Education.
The Centre can host up to 35 students  from the primary and secondary education level for a day or longer. The students implement environmental projects under the supervision of the staffof the Centre. There is a guest house with a restaurant for the students’ groups which program is longer than oneday.

Vyroneia’s Aquarium
In the Aquarium of the area the visitor can see mostly fish species inhabiting Lake Kerkini and the river Strymonas. Most of the tanks are displayed in one hall. There is a very small exhibition of reptiles. The Aquarium is situated near the railway station of Vyroneia.
